While the original Dracula movie was being made in the 1930's a Spanish version was being shot at night using the same set but with Spanish speaking actors. In the Spanish version Count Dracula tells Renfield after he is startled by some animals howling:
"Escuchalos, son los hijos de la noche. Que hermosa musica compone."
"Listen to them, they are the children of the night. What beautiful music they make."
